NWSC’S EVELYN MUKAJUSI JOINS THE CONTINENTAL EXPERT GROUP ON RURAL AND PERI-URBAN WATER SUPPLY
During the 95th Strategic and Technological Council (STC) Conference of the African Water and Sanitation Association (AfWASA), a new Specialist Group was formally constituted to address one of the continent’s most pressing challenges, drinking water supply in rural and peri-urban areas.

Abida Sidik Mia, Malawi’s Minister of Water and Sanitation. A “Women at the Helm” type of meeting, so to speak.

The National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) has swiftly addressed recent concerns over reports of discoloured water in parts of Fort Portal. While the incidents appear to be isolated, the Corporation’s Water Quality Directorate has launched enhanced measures to safeguard public confidence and uphold water safety across the region.
