Our Story

Since 2005 the External Services supports water and sanitation sector service delivery improvement through sharing of its knowledge and expertise in Strategic and investment planning, performance contracting and management, utility operations and management to foster sustainable operations. Through the provision of services to other utilities, synergies are created that facilitate cross learning and accelerate results. Since inception ES has partnered with over 80 utilities both in water and electricity sectors in Africa, Asia and the Caribbean.

Harnessing the lessons from the turnaround of our mother company NWSC from an ailing utility to a seminal world-class success story, the NWSC External Services helps utilities and organizations across Africa, Asia, the Pacific and beyond to develop and implement high impact business models that work for
them.

The National Water and Sewerage Corporation (NWSC) has earned international recognition for its innovative internal reforms and performance improvement programs. Through its External Services Unit (ESU), NWSC now shares this expertise by offering benchmarking services to utilities and organizations worldwide.
